Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 10-inch flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 16 sliced pickles
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

Method

  1. Heat a large pan over medium heat and brown the ground beef, seasoning it with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until fully cooked and no pink remains.
  2. Place stacked tortillas on a microwave-safe plate, cover with a damp paper towel, and warm in the microwave for about 20 to 25 seconds to make them pliable.
  3. Spread a thin coating of mayonnaise and ketchup evenly over each warm tortilla, then add 4 pickle slices, a slice of American cheese, and roughly half a cup of the cooked ground beef.
  4. Roll each tortilla tightly like a burrito to keep the filling secure, repeating this process for all four wraps.
  5. Brush melted butter generously over the tops of all assembled wraps for a golden finish.
  6. Set your air fryer to 380°F and preheat it.
  7. Carefully place the buttered wraps into the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes until they become crisp and golden brown.
  8. After cooking, brush the wraps again with melted butter for extra flavor.
  9. Allow the wraps to cool slightly before slicing and serving to enjoy a delicious, melty cheeseburger experience.

Notes

  • For best taste, enjoy these wraps immediately. Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm them in the air fryer at 380°F for 1 to 3 minutes until heated through. Make sure to warm the tortillas before assembling to prevent breakage and use large burrito-sized tortillas for easier rolling. Pat the pickles dry to avoid soggy wraps. Cooking times may vary by air fryer model; adjust accordingly.
