  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness about 1/2 inch.
  3. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a dish.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over chicken breasts in another dish.
  5. Coat each chicken breast in breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  6. Place breaded chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Remove chicken, spoon marinara sauce over each piece.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Return chicken to air fryer and cook 3-5 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles.
  11. Let chicken rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
