Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Chicken Breast
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper
  • ½ cup Fine Breadcrumb
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Chili powder or paprika

Method
 

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into fillets or cutlets and gently pound thicker sections to even out their thickness.
  2. Combine oil, salt, and pepper then brush the chicken pieces thoroughly with this mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried basil, salt, and chili powder or paprika.
  4. Dip each chicken fillet into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to coat both sides evenly.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket leaving space between them.
  6. Set the air fryer temperature to 200 °C (390 °F) and cook for 8 to 9 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken over and cook for an additional 4 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
  8. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.

Notes

  • For best results, make sure the chicken pieces have even thickness to cook uniformly. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad for a wholesome meal.
