Method
- Peel and cut onion into thin round slices.
- Drizzle oil over the slices and gently separate the rings.
- Place the onion rings in the air fryer basket.
- Fry initially at 300F for 10 min, gently mixing the rings every 5 min.
- Lower temperature to 240F and continue frying, gently mixing every 5 min for 15-18 min until desired color and texture is achieved.
Notes
- You may use either red or yellow onions, but red onions will yield a darker color. Cooking times may vary based on onion quantity; adjust by checking every 5 minutes at 240F until crispy and caramelized.
