Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (5-8 oz. each)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Method

  1. Stir together honey, mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make the glaze.
  2. Coat the salmon fillets in about two-thirds of the honey mustard mixture and let them marinate for 30 minutes, or toss until fully coated.
  3. Heat the air fryer to 400°F.
  4. Arrange the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket and brush the remaining glaze over the top.
  5. Cook the salmon for 7 to 8 minutes, adjusting time for thickness.
  6. Serve immediately, drizzling with any leftover sauce and garnishing with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat option, run it at 400°F for 5 minutes before cooking the salmon for even results. For a bit of spice, sprinkle red pepper flakes into the marinade. For more tips and substitutions, see the recipe tips section.
