Air Fryer Poached Eggs Made Easy Delicious and Quick

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg fresh; cold or room temperature
  • 2 tbsp water per ramekin
  • cooking spray or oil to grease ramekin
  • salt & pepper to taste, for serving
  • optional everything bagel seasoning
  • optional chili flakes
  • optional chopped parsley or chives for garnish

Method
 

  1. Lightly grease a ramekin with oil spray or brush with oil.
  2. Add 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of water to the ramekin.
  3. Crack one egg into the ramekin. Do not stir.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Carefully place the ramekin into the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 6–8 minutes depending on desired yolk doneness: 6 min = runny yolk, 7 min = slightly set yolk, 8 min = jammy yolk.
  7. Use tongs to carefully remove the hot ramekin.
  8. Gently scoop out the egg with a spoon. Drain excess water and serve with salt, pepper, or optional toppings.

Notes

  • Store cooled eggs in the fridge in an airtight container with a damp paper towel for up to 3 days. Reheat in warm water for 30–60 seconds. Avoid microwaving to preserve texture.
