Lightly grease a ramekin with oil spray or brush with oil.
Add 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of water to the ramekin.
Crack one egg into the ramekin. Do not stir.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
Carefully place the ramekin into the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 6–8 minutes depending on desired yolk doneness: 6 min = runny yolk, 7 min = slightly set yolk, 8 min = jammy yolk.
Use tongs to carefully remove the hot ramekin.
Gently scoop out the egg with a spoon. Drain excess water and serve with salt, pepper, or optional toppings.
