Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ pounds pork belly, patted dry, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Method
 

  1. Set your air fryer to preheat at 400°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together canola oil, brown sugar, garlic powder, kosher salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss the pork belly chunks in the seasoned oil mixture until every piece is fully coated.
  4. Arrange the pork belly pieces evenly in the air fryer basket without overlapping; if needed, cook in multiple batches.
  5. Cook the pork belly bites in the air fryer for about 18 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket and flipping pieces two or three times to ensure even crisping.
  6. Once cooked, carefully remove the crispy pork bites from the air fryer and serve them hot.

Notes

  • Depending on your air fryer size, you may need to cook the pork belly bites in batches. Serve immediately for best crispiness.
