Set your air fryer to 400°F / 200°C to preheat.
Dry the pork chops with paper towels and score the rind if it’s thick, making 1-inch / 2cm cuts.
Combine all the seasoning rub ingredients well in a small bowl.
Put the pork chops in a container or plate, drizzle with olive oil if using, then coat evenly with the seasoning mix.
Arrange the pork chops in the air fryer basket, keeping them separated.
Cook the chops in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through at around 7 minutes.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the pork reaches 145°F / 63°C at the center before serving.
