Beef Pepper Rice Bowl: Delicious and Easy Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup uncooked jasmine rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent and fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  4. Stir in sliced bell peppers and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Add uncooked jasmine rice to the skillet and stir to combine.
  6. Pour in beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ground black pepper, paprika, and salt to taste.
  7. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
  8. Simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
  9. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes.
  10. Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with chopped green onions.
