Finely chop the garlic. Rinse and slice the mushrooms. Cut the cabbage and beef steaks into thin strips. Peel and slice the carrot into thin pieces.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Toss in the minced garlic and cook while stirring frequently until fragrant.
Add the sliced mushrooms and beef strips to the pan. Stir and cook them together for about two minutes.
Introduce the carrot and cabbage strips to the skillet. Let everything cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Pour in the soy sauce and stir well. Continue cooking on medium heat for another 5 to 7 minutes, ensuring beef is cooked and vegetables are tender.
Transfer the mixture into bowls and serve warm. For a fuller meal, pair it with steamed white rice if you prefer.
