Brownie Batter Overnight Oats: Easy Delicious Breakfast

Brownie batter overnight oats taste just like brownie batter! This easy healthy breakfast is perfect for a protein overnight oats healthy option and works wonderfully as a calorie deficit breakfast. Enjoy a delicious start to your day with minimal prep.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup oats (quick or rolled)
  • 2 tbps chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2-4 medjool dates (depending how sweet you like it)
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • Topping options: Melted dark chocolate, Berries, Coconut flakes

Method
 

  1. Add all the ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. If you prefer a slightly chunkier texture just pulse a few times to slightly blend.
  2. Transfer to a jar or container with a lid and place in the fridge overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
  3. Serve with your favourite toppings.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the number of medjool dates to suit your sweetness preference. Serving with melted dark chocolate, berries, or coconut flakes makes an excellent topping. Keep refrigerated and consume within 2-3 days for best freshness.
