Creamy Beef Pasta Delight Quick and Comforting Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces (1/2 box) of pasta shells
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 cup diced onion (1/2 an onion)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Boil pasta according to the directions on the box.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, cook the ground beef and drain.
  3. In the largest pan, heat olive oil and sauté the onions until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the garlic and Italian seasoning and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in the tomato soup and water. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the drained ground beef, heavy cream, and cooked pasta to the pan and cook over medium heat, stirring to combine.
  7. Once fully combined, add in the shredded cheeses and stir until melted and heated through.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a quicker option, use frozen diced onions. You can substitute Italian seasoning with your favorite herbs. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
