Ingredients

  • 1 kg (about 2.2 lbs) chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to make the dry rub.
  3. Toss the wings with olive oil, then coat evenly with the dry rub mixture.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 5 minutes.
  5. Place the wings in the air fryer basket and cook for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  6. Check that wings are golden brown and have reached an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, ensure wings are thoroughly dried before seasoning. Cooking in batches may be necessary if your air fryer is small. Customize the dry rub to suit your preferences.
