Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (about 100 g)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (about 100 g)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels.
  2. Combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  3. Press each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  4. Heat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it run for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts in a single layer inside the air fryer basket and spray lightly with olive oil.
  6. Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping them over halfway through the cooking time.
  7. Let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before serving to lock in the juices.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken before coating. Swap in gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free version. Always check the chicken's internal temperature to ensure it hits 165°F (75°C) for safe consumption.
