Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts or Thighs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 tablespoon Nonstick Cooking Spray
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 0.5 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Hot Sauce
  • 4 cups Cornflakes
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Seasoning Mix (salt, chili powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper)
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Additional Hot Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.25 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Crush cornflakes into small pieces using a food processor or a rolling pin.
  3. Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour and brown sugar, one with whisked eggs and hot sauce, and one with the crushed cornflake mixture seasoned with paprika and seasoning mix.
  4. Slice and tenderize chicken to uniform thickness.
  5. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  6. Coat each piece in the flour mixture, dip in egg wash, then roll in the cornflake mixture.
  7. Place coated chicken pieces on a greased baking sheet and lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  8. Bake for 15-16 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  9. While baking, prepare the hot honey sauce by heating honey, additional hot sauce, butter, light brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and mustard powder in a saucepan over low heat.
  10. Drizzle hot honey sauce over baked chicken before serving.
