Method
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
- Whisk together honey, chicken broth, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, until chicken reaches 165°F.
- Once cooked, slice or shred the chicken and serve with the sauce.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days after cooling to room temperature. Freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months; thaw overnight in fridge before reheating.
