Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add sliced mushrooms, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until mushrooms are tender.
- Arrange slices of bread on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the mushroom mixture onto each slice.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Best eaten fresh, but you can reheat them in the oven for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
