Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • olive oil or avocado oil cooking spray
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive or avocado oil.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch.
  5. Cook the wings for 25 minutes, shaking the basket or turning wings halfway through for even crispiness.
  6. While the wings cook, melt the butter in a mixing bowl.
  7. Stir in honey and buffalo sauce until fully combined.
  8. Once wings are cooked and crispy, transfer them to the mixing bowl with the sauce.
  9. Toss the wings thoroughly to coat them evenly with the honey buffalo sauce.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy your sweet and spicy honey buffalo wings!

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, pat them as dry as possible before seasoning. You can adjust the honey amount to change the sweetness level. Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer for best results.
