Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce (shredded)
  • 1/2 red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1/3 cup banana peppers (sliced)
  • 3 sub rolls
  • 1/4 pound salami
  • 1/4 pound pepperoni
  • 1/4 pound turkey
  • 1/4 pound provolone cheese
  • 1 tomato (sliced)

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the dressing.
  2. Add shredded lettuce, sliced red onion, and banana peppers to the bowl and gently toss everything until well coated with the dressing.
  3. Layer salami, pepperoni, turkey, and provolone cheese inside each sub roll evenly.
  4. Turn on your oven's broiler and place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet.
  5. Broil the sandwiches for about 2 to 3 minutes, watching carefully until the cheese melts and gets slightly bubbly.
  6. Take the sandwiches out from the oven; add tomato slices on top of the melted cheese.
  7. Generously spoon the prepared grinder salad mixture over the tomato layers inside each sandwich.
