Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup pineapple juice or water
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup strawberry juice or water
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Method

  1. Add frozen pineapple chunks, pineapple juice or water, and honey to a blender. Blend until the mixture is thick and smooth, adding more liquid if needed. Transfer the pineapple slush to a bowl and set aside.
  2. Clean the blender thoroughly, then put frozen strawberries, strawberry juice or water, and honey inside. Blend until thick and creamy, adding extra juice or water for desired consistency.
  3. Take a tall glass and layer spoonfuls of pineapple slush and strawberry slush alternately. Use a spoon or straw to softly swirl the layers together creating a pretty marbled effect.
  4. Serve the swirled slushie right away with a straw and enjoy this refreshing, fruity treat.

Notes

  • Make sure the fruit is fully frozen to achieve the best icy texture. Adjust honey for sweetness to your liking, though natural fruit sugars are often enough.
