Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sausage (Italian or chicken)
  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sausage and brown for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add cubed sweet potatoes to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. In a bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the sauce over the sausage and sweet potatoes, stir to coat evenly.
