Ingredients
  

  • Ice
  • 2-3 dashes orange bitters
  • 4 oz. orange pineapple juice
  • ½ oz. grenadine syrup
  • Slice of grapefruit orange or pineapple for garnish

Method
 

  1. Start by filling a tall glass with plenty of ice cubes.
  2. Pour in 2 to 3 dashes of orange bitters, then add the orange pineapple juice on top.
  3. Slowly drizzle the grenadine syrup into the glass and watch it settle at the bottom before gently rising.
  4. Finish by decorating the drink with a slice of grapefruit, orange or pineapple.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy the beautiful sunrise effect.

Notes

  • To make an alcoholic version, add 1 ounce of blanco tequila prior to the juice. If orange pineapple juice is unavailable, mix 2 ounces each of orange and pineapple juice for a fresh homemade version.
